This current season of 21 Days of Prayer has been a powerful and very strategic time of prayer, intercession and prophetic proclamation among believers throughout the entire world. The earth is being shaken by all manner of signs, tragedies, wars, and strife, such as have rarely been seen in the history of mankind, but we can take courage, for The Bible says in Isaiah 60:2 “For behold, darkness shall cover the earth, and thick darkness the peoples; but the LORD will arise upon you, and his glory will be seen upon you.”
As we pray and seek God’s face, chains are shattered, strongholds come tumbling down, and the plans of satan are ground into dust. The Lord is almighty and all-knowing, and as we align with His plans, and pray into that, our situation and future are changed for His glory. Prayer for Israel during this time has been especially passionate throughout the nations, as Israel is currently a nation divided and standing on a knife’s edge when it comes to its security and it’s international relationships that have been forged over many years.
The prayers of the saints into Israel’s current situation and its prophetic destiny will have a mighty effect and are not in vain. Not only do the prayers of the nations inspire Israeli believers to become prayer warriors, evangelists, and church planters themselves, but Israel as a nation is being prepared according to God’s plans. In Isaiah 62:1 we read “The nations will see your righteousness, and all kings your glory; you will be called by a new name that the mouth of the LORD will bestow. You will be a crown of splendor in the LORD’s hand, a royal diadem in the hand of your God.
