A Month That Can Shape a Lifetime —
Summer Youth Discipleship at Beit Hallel

Every year, as summer approaches, parents begin making plans for how their children will spend their time. Vacations are scheduled. Camps are organized. Activities fill the calendar. But what if a summer could become something far more than a collection of activities? What if it became a season that changed the direction of a young person’s life?

Over the years, that is exactly what we have witnessed through our Summer Youth Discipleship program for young believers in Israel. We have seen lives transformed. We have witnessed tears of repentance, moments of spiritual breakthrough, and a growing hunger for God’s Word. What begins as a summer program often becomes a defining season in a young person’s walk with the Lord.

This year, we are once again opening our doors for an entire month of discipleship, worship, prayer, fellowship, and spiritual growth. Day after day, young people will gather together to study Scripture, encourage one another, seek God’s presence, and learn what it means to follow Yeshua wholeheartedly. One of the unique aspects of our Summer Youth Discipleship program is that the Bible does not remain confined to a classroom. Together, we will explore the very places where biblical history unfolded. Young people will study God’s Word in Jerusalem, in the Galilee, and in locations connected to the life and ministry of Jesus. As they walk through these places, Scripture comes alive in a new and personal way.

Yet some of the most important lessons will not happen during a Bible study or a worship service.

Throughout the program, participants will have opportunities to serve others through practical acts of love and compassion. They will volunteer among believers and non-believers, assist families in need, and help serve Holocaust survivors and new immigrants making Aliyah to Israel. In the process, they will discover an important truth: when we serve others, God also changes us.

One young participant described last year’s program as an unforgettable experience. Reflecting on her time at our Summer Youth Discipleship program, she shared:

“It was an incredible time. We visited biblical places, studied God’s Word, had fun together, and made new friends. Even after the program ended, we continued spending time together and encouraging one another in our faith.”

Her words capture something we see year after year. This Summer Youth Discipleship program is not only helping young people grow spiritually—it is helping them build friendships centered on their faith in Yeshua. Those relationships often continue long after the summer ends, providing encouragement, accountability, and community during some of the most important years of life.

That is why this youth program is about much more than a summer schedule.

It is about creating an environment where young people can encounter God, discover their purpose, develop lasting friendships, and build a faith that will carry them through the years ahead. In a generation facing unprecedented challenges and competing voices, we believe these moments matter more than ever.

The Psalmist declared that one generation should tell the next generation of the Lord’s mighty works and faithfulness (Psalm 78:4). That is our heart. We are not simply planning activities for the summer; we are investing in the spiritual future of a generation.

As we prepare for another month of Summer Youth Discipleship, we invite you to stand with us. Your prayers and financial support help make it possible for young Israelis to participate in this life-changing discipleship experience. Together, we are helping raise an Israeli generation that knows God’s Word, serves others with compassion, stands firm in their faith, and boldly carries the light of Yeshua throughout Israel and beyond.

What may appear to be a summer program today may become a testimony that shapes a lifetime. Thank you for standing with us!

Strengthening the Shepherds—Jewish Arab Conference at the Sea of Galilee

Most people see pastors standing behind pulpits, leading congregations, teaching the Word, praying for the sick, comforting the hurting, and carrying the spiritual burdens of others. What is often unseen are the challenges they themselves face along the way. Ministry can be deeply rewarding, but it can also be demanding. Leaders pour themselves out week […]

A Divine Appointment in Jerusalem:
Anna’s Story

One of the greatest privileges of serving on Beit Hallel’s outreach team is witnessing how God prepares hearts long before we ever arrive. Every conversation, every invitation, and every step of obedience creates an opportunity for the Lord to work in someone’s life. Sometimes those opportunities come during organized outreaches. Sometimes they happen during congregational […]

Twenty-One Years of Beit Hallel:
Celebrating God’s Goodness Together

Twenty-one years is more than a milestone. It represents thousands of prayers offered in faith, lives touched by God’s grace, tears shed, victories celebrated, and countless reminders that the Lord is faithful to His promises. It is the story of what God can do when ordinary people simply say “yes” to His calling. This weekend, […]

Hebrew Word of the Week:
Ani Hu (אֲנִי הוּא) —
I Am He

We live in a world where so much can change without warning. Plans change, circumstances change, people change, and sometimes things we thought were secure suddenly become uncertain. When that happens, our attention naturally goes to the problem in front of us.  We want to know what will happen, how God will answer, and what […]

When God Speaks of Zion:
His Protection, His Peace, His Blessing Over You

“Praise the LORD, O Jerusalem! Praise your God, O Zion! For He has strengthened the bars of your gates; He has blessed your children within you.” Psalm 147:12–13 Jerusalem is a city the whole world seems to have an opinion about. For more than three thousand years, kingdoms have fought over her, nations have watched […]

Praying for you from Biblical Jaffa:
God still has the final Word

Shalom from Jaffa—biblical Joppa, one of the ancient cities of Israel and a place where remarkable events recorded in Scripture unfolded. As I stand here today, I am praying for you. I may not know exactly what you are facing as you read these words, what situation you have been bringing before the Lord, or what has […]

The beginning they didn’t expect
Finding new life in Israel

Anna had only recently made Aliyah with her three children. As a single mother, she was beginning again in Israel with a 20-year-old son and two daughters, sixteen and five—new surroundings, a new rhythm of life, and so much still uncertain. Then, during one of our recent times together with new Olim, our team began […]

Six lives changed in Biblical Jaffa

They had made Aliyah only two months earlier, and life in Israel was already weighing heavily on them. So when Irina found herself on a small bus heading toward Jaffa and asked what kind of excursion they had joined, our team gave her a simple answer: “We just want you to spend the day with […]

How will they hear?
Bringing the gospel within reach

There are Israelis who have lived their entire lives in the land of the Bible and have never once heard the Gospel clearly explained to them. They know the names of Abraham, Moses, David, and the prophets. They walk the same land where Yeshua lived and ministered. Many know His name—but know Him only as the […]
