In Ashdod, something beautiful is unfolding.
As our Evangelism and Discipleship Center moves into its final stages of renovation, we are witnessing more than progress in walls, wiring, and rooms. We are seeing hearts awaken, faith activated, and a generation rise up in response to what God is preparing among us.
For many months now, we have been working toward a simple but powerful vision: a dedicated place where the Gospel can be shared openly, where disciples can be trained deeply, and where people—young and old—can encounter Jesus in a personal and transforming way. By God’s grace, the heavy and costly stages of renovation are now behind us. Most of the difficult work is done. We praise the Lord for this milestone.
But perhaps the most encouraging testimony coming out of this season is not the construction itself—it’s the movement stirring among our youth at Beit Hallel Congregation.
For years, our young people met and worshiped wherever space allowed. Often, that meant gathering in our congregational bomb shelter—a safe place, but never meant to be a permanent spiritual home. Still, they came. They worshiped. They prayed. They pressed in.
Now, with the vision of a dedicated center becoming real before their eyes, something has shifted.
Our youth didn’t wait to be asked. They didn’t wait for the building to be finished. Instead, they stepped forward—week after week—to help clean, organize, and assist with practical renovation tasks. What began as volunteering soon turned into ownership.
And then something remarkable happened.
Rather than waiting for the last tools to be packed away, they simply moved construction materials aside, set up worship equipment, and began meeting inside the new building—right in the midst of renovation. Worship rose between unfinished walls. Prayer filled rooms still being prepared. Faith didn’t wait for perfection.
This is a picture of what God is doing.
A center is being built—but at the same time, a generation is being formed. These young believers are already treating this place as holy ground, already filling it with worship, already claiming it as a house for God’s presence and purpose.
We truly believe this center will become a hub of evangelism, discipleship, youth gatherings, worship evenings, and life-changing encounters. What we are seeing now is only the beginning.
Renovations are in the final stretch.
The vision is alive.
The fruit is already visible.
