A Timely Update from Israel as the Jewish Month of Cheshvan begins

In this special video update, Pastor Israel shares a timely and impacting update from Israel, blending the current events in the Land with the truth of God’s Word.

In Israel, the month of Cheshvan has begun. The beginning of a new month, known biblically as the New Moon, is marked by Psalm 81:4: “Blow the trumpet at the time of the New Moon.”

With Cheshvan being the first month after Israel’s series of feasts, the nation returns to daily life. Yet, Israel faces the ongoing challenges of a serious military threat—a reminder of the need for constant prayer and dependence on God.

Now, amid growing tensions, Iran has escalated its threats, declaring plans for intensified attacks on Israel, potentially timed with American elections. Pastor Israel points out that, while these threats are concerning, Israel has witnessed God’s miraculous protection before. In times of such grave threats, Israel is reminded of God’s previous miracles and, as Pastor Israel encourages, remains in great need of God’s miraculous hand of protection again. 

He invites believers worldwide to join in prayer during this month of Cheshvan, interceding for God’s blessing, protection, and miraculous intervention for Israel. As Iran’s citizens increasingly seek freedom from oppressive rule, there’s a significant need for prayers that the glory of God be evident through these turbulent times and that many will see His sovereign hand over Israel.

Cheshvan may seem like a month of “ordinary days,” Pastor Israel says, with no major feasts or celebrations, yet it’s a time when God’s presence is just as needed in the routine of daily life. He reminds us that even in the regular rhythm of our days, we need Yeshua’s light, protection, and guidance. 

In closing, he encourages believers to lift up the United States as it approaches the November elections, praying that God’s will will be done and that His guidance and wisdom prevail. Pastor Israel’s message calls for solidarity and constant prayer in these historic days.

May God’s presence and shalom surround Israel and all who stand with her.
