The Hebrew word Bamidbar means “in the wilderness.” It was in the wilderness that God prepared His people for what lay ahead—not through chaos, but through order, purpose, and His presence.
Before Israel moved forward, God counted every person, assigned every tribe its place, and positioned the camp around the Tabernacle. Nothing was random. Every person mattered.
This same truth speaks to us today.
In Yeshua, we see the fulfillment of what the Mishkan pointed toward—God dwelling among His people. Just as Israel was called to center their lives around God’s presence, we are called to center our lives around Messiah.
