Join Pastor Israel for today’s Shabbat Shalom devotional as he shares on two powerful Hebrew words that often went hand-in-hand with Yeshua’s teachings: “chazak” (חזק) and “emats” (אֹמֶץ). Yeshua would often exhort His followers not to be afraid, nor scared. God told Joshua to be strong and courageous as they were retaking the land of promise. God would often speak encouragement into our lives, not just for our sake, but also for the sake of others. Sometimes the command of God to be bold, to be courageous, and to be strong, might seem impossible to obey, but when we respond in faith, the Holy Spirit will super charge our actions, and allow us to be a blessing to our loved ones, churches, and the body of believers all over the world. Let’s memorize and apply these ancient words, chazak and ematz, as the very words that God spoke to Joshua, as a daily reminder to be strong and courageous today!
