What a joy it is to share a praise report from Jerusalem! During this special Christmas–Hanukkah season, we had the privilege of witnessing the Gospel being boldly and lovingly proclaimed in the heart of our capital city, as hundreds of Israelis gathered to hear the message of hope, comfort, and salvation.
Hundreds of Israelis joined us for a full day in Jerusalem filled with warmth, fellowship, and a truly unique atmosphere. Jerusalem during Christmas and Hanukkah is unlike anywhere else in the world—lights shining through ancient streets, songs and prayers rising side by side, and a deep sense of history and expectation in the air. People came from different backgrounds and walks of life, yet all were united in a shared moment of openness and curiosity. Beyond the food, the smiles, and the festive spirit, the heart of this outreach was clear and uncompromising: to lift up Yeshua and invite people to turn to the Savior of Israel.
Throughout the day, participants watched a Gospel film, listened attentively to the message of salvation, and were gently invited to pray, reflect, and respond. Many listened quietly, some with tears in their eyes, others with thoughtful questions. We reminded them of a powerful and often forgotten truth: the Messiah was born here, among His own people. Yeshua—Jesus—is not a foreign figure or distant idea, but the Jewish Messiah, the King of the nations, and the living hope of Israel today.
This year has been an incredibly difficult one for our nation. War, rockets, fear, uncertainty, and deep emotional fatigue have weighed heavily on the hearts of so many across the land. Families have lived under constant tension, and the sense of security has been shaken. And yet, in the midst of this darkness, God opened the door for light. In the middle of pain, we were able to preach hope. In the middle of fear, we saw comfort take root. Again and again, we witnessed the words of Scripture becoming reality before our eyes:
“Comfort, comfort My people,” says the Lord.
We saw that comfort expressed in quiet prayers, in tears of release, in conversations that continued long after the program ended. The presence of God was tangible, and many hearts were clearly softened. The greatest comfort we can offer—especially in such a season—is the hope found in the Jewish Messiah, who brings forgiveness, healing, and peace.
Dear friends, this is happening because we are not walking alone. Because of your prayers and faithful partnership, the message of salvation is reaching people where they are—on the streets of Jerusalem, in a season when hearts are searching and open. Together, we are walking toward the salvation of Israel, step by step, moment by moment.
As we finish this year strong, we also look ahead with faith and expectation. We believe the Lord is preparing even greater opportunities to share the Good News and bring comfort to His people in the days ahead. Thank you for walking this journey with us, for standing with Israel, and for believing with us that light shines brightest in the darkness.
