Just a few days ago, the hills around Jerusalem were covered in thick smoke and glowing with flames. A small spark turned into the biggest wildfire Israel has ever seen. Whole national parks were burned down. Beautiful forests that had stood for decades were turned into ashes. It was heartbreaking to see. What was once full of life is now blackened and silent.
But even in the middle of this devastation, we believe God is still writing a bigger story—one filled with hope, restoration, and purpose.
You see, these trees didn’t grow there on their own. Over the years, believers, families, and ministries have planted them—sometimes in memory of loved ones, sometimes as an act of worship, and always with faith. These weren’t just trees. They were signs of restoration and of life taking root again in the land of Israel.
Now that the fire has passed, the pain is real—but so is the promise. God is still faithful.
Like it says in Isaiah:
He gives beauty instead of ashes, joy instead of mourning, and praise instead of a heavy spirit.
Isaiah 61:3
We believe that’s exactly what He’s going to do again. Out of the ashes, new life will come. Where there was destruction, God will bring healing. And even though it hurts to see the damage, we know this isn’t the end of the story.
At Beit Hallel, we’re ready to start planting again. Not just trees—but hope, faith, and love in the hearts of people across this land. We’re trusting that God will use even this moment of loss to bring something beautiful.
