In the book of Galatians 1:3 we read “Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.” In Hebrew we speak of Grace as “Chesed” and of Peace as “Shalom.” The grace and peace of God are two powerful forces in our lives, which we constantly need to navigate the challenges and tribulations that life throws at us. These precious gifts are also freely available to us as believers, as is evident in the way that Paul greets the Galatians: “Grace and peace to you from God…” How wonderful to know that God’s grace and peace is ours today by faith!
