I Survived the Nova Festival on October 7th:
The Darkest Day in Israel’s Modern History

October 7th is a day that has forever altered the course of Israel’s history. A day of darkness that shattered lives, a day when evil sought to silence hope. It is a day of grief and devastation, but also one of resilience, faith, and the undeniable hand of God at work—even in the midst of chaos.

The horrors of that morning have been spoken of around the world—
the terror attacks, the brutal murders, the innocent lives lost.

But beyond the headlines, there are countless personal stories that remain untold. Stories of those who perished. Stories of those who survived by nothing short of a miracle. Stories that expose the depths of evil but also reveal the unshakable spirit of Israel and the faithfulness of God.

That is why we created this documentary. To give voice to the voiceless. To allow survivors to share their truth. To bear witness to the darkest of days so that history will never forget.

One of those stories is Orie’s. A young Israeli man—full of life, full of dreams. A friend of my daughter. A man who, by all human reasoning, should have died four times on October 7th, and yet, four times, God reached down and spared his life.

Orie’s story is harrowing, yet miraculous.
It is a testimony of survival, courage, and divine intervention.

In the face of pure darkness, he found flickers of light. In the depths of despair, he clung to hope. And now, he shares his journey—not just to recount the horrors of that day, but to remind us all of an eternal truth: even in the valley of the shadow of death, God is near. He is our refuge, our deliverer, and our ever-present help in trouble.

This documentary is more than just a retelling of events; it is a call to stand with Israel, to remember, and to bear witness. As believers, we are called to be watchmen on the walls (Isaiah 62:6), to intercede, to support, and to declare the truth in a world that so easily forgets.
