Without a doubt, October 7th marked the nation of Israel in an unprecedented way. There’s a definite before and after in terms of how securely we feel in our own borders. Israel’s biblical history is undeniable, and her future is strongly grounded in God’s eternal promises that no man can change.
When Israel resurfaced after the horrors of October 7th’s brutal massacre, we not only found ourselves in a state of war we did not seek but also we had our brothers and sisters kidnapped from their homes and taken away into Gaza by barbaric terrorists.
Eight months have passed and over 120 Israeli hostages are still being held captive in Gaza, with Israel having to pay high prices for both the security of the entire nation, as well as the retrieval of our hostages.
A truly heroic and remarkably courageous operation in the very heart of Gaza led by IDF and Israeli security forces led to the rescue of four hostages alive.
It was a miraculous operation, to say the least, and for us as a nation to have even four of our brothers and sisters back means the world.
There’s a saying here in Israel: Time goes by everywhere else in the world, for us it’s still October 7th.
With so many hostages still held captive and Israel still fighting in a war to ensure not only their release, but the nation’s future safety from similar October 7th inspired attacks, tens of thousands of displaced families both from the south and north of Israel that is being targeted every single day with Hezbollah rockets, setting fire to entire communities and villages – Israel has a lot on its plate right now, and we need your prayers more than ever.
Knowing we can stand firmly on God’s promises is what drives this nation, however knowing we don’t stand on them alone, but YOU are standing with us, is incredibly empowering and a source of encouragement.
Stand with us in prayer for Israel, for the return of our hostages, whom God calls sons and daughters, and for the families that are in an endless nightmare of despair waiting for their loved ones who are held hostage.
Pray for the protection of our soldiers and all who fight to defend this country, for the peace of Jerusalem and security within her walls.
Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: “May those who love you be secure. May there be peace within your walls and security within your citadels.” For the sake of my brothers and friends, I will say, “Peace be within you.” For the sake of the house of the LORD our God, I will seek your prosperity.
