This week we enter a powerful section of Exodus where the Lord invites Israel to bring a voluntary offering — a terumah (תְּרוּמָה), something lifted up from a willing heart. This was not a demand or obligation. It was an invitation to participate in preparing a dwelling place for His presence.
God says, “Let them make Me a sanctuary, that I may dwell among them” (Exodus 25:8). The Hebrew word Mishkan (מִשְׁכָּן) means dwelling place. At the heart of this portion is not simply structure, materials, or sacred design — it is relationship. The Holy One desires to live among His people.
Through Yeshua, this truth becomes deeply personal. God no longer dwells in a tent made by human hands, but in hearts that make space for Him.
This week’s teaching reminds us:
• God invites willing partnership
• Giving prepares room for His presence
• God values intentional worship and thoughtful devotion
Every detail of the Tabernacle reflects His order, beauty, and holiness — and every act of obedience today still prepares a place for Him to dwell.
May our hearts be a willing offering.
