Having received the final permits for the first-ever Christian owned building in Ashdod is a wonderful victory for the Lord and a significant boost for God’s Kingdom in Israel! Not only does this victory lay the groundwork for a permanent sanctuary for God’s glory in Ashdod, but it also provides us with a foundation from which to expand our humanitarian work, to leverage the impact of our Gospel outreaches, and to accommodate our growing membership base.
I’m so happy to report that we are currently working full-steam to prepare the Lord’s sanctuary here in Ashdod. We’ve already paid for and ordered the floor-to-ceiling windows for the auditorium, as well as the casement windows for the foyer, staircase, and first-floor. That’s $121,445 covered from the entire budget!
Now we are busy converting the first floor into a distribution warehouse to aid the poor, installing security barriers on the ground-floor to secure delivered humanitarian aid, restoring and painting all walls, and planning the construction and installation of the front stage. God is just so good, and the partners whom He has sent to financially support our efforts have been such a blessing.
This sanctuary is the Lord’s—not ours. This entire project was undertaken under his instruction, and we are submitted to His will and direction every step of the way. We do not take for granted all that the Lord has done in giving us stewardship of this building, and enabling us to finally receive the permits to inhabit this new building.
The resources, the favor, and the open doors were all made possible through His grace. We still have some way to go in wrapping up the building process, but our eyes are on Him, and we believe that He has already ordained the right people to collaborate with us on this mission.
Any seed, big or small, that you can sow into this mission will be appreciated and put to good use in preparing this sanctuary for Jesus’ glory. Thank you for partnering with us in this groundbreaking event that will have a deep impact on the spiritual future of Ashdod and Israel!
