Since the war broke out over two weeks ago, we felt an intense pressure in the spirit. We knew this war was going to be different and it would be serious. It will not resemble any of the other attacks or military operations we have gone through before in Israel.
It is crucial to understand how Israel’s destiny is directly connected to the nations, be aware of the demonic powers that have been released, and their work in the nations against Israel.
We have entered into very serious spiritual warfare, in addition to the physical war that is raging right now in Israel.
It became clear since day one that we need to ignite powerful intercessory prayer in our congregation.
Our prayer network engages in focused prayer every morning and evening, as we ask the Holy Spirit to guide us in intercession, and it’s amazing how the Lord has been moving, revealing to us prophetic signs and directions. Our prayer warriors have been receiving prophetic visions and dreams related to these current developments.
Recently pastor Israel received a vision regarding the importance of prayer.
As he was praying, he saw in the spirit leaders of Hamas calling on Muslims around the world to unite and attack Israel all at the same time; from Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Egypt. It was a call to all come against Israel together in an attempt to outnumber and overwhelm Israel, to see it destroyed once and for all.
As pastor Israel kept praying, he saw Jordan in a dream (Jordan specifically has a large number of Palestinians who originate from Jordan). He saw Jordan and Jordan’s Palestinians rising up against Israel, taking up weapons and breaking through the border, infiltrating and committing the same atrocities Hamas did in the south after they broke through the Gaza border.
Suddenly, that vision changed and in the midst of these calls to attack Israel all at once, breaking through its borders, pastor Israel saw that Israel was now ready, and the borders were secured, and Israel’s enemies were pushed back.
The third part of that vision was when this fired-up hatred and calls to attack Israel just died down with only a few small riots and mainly background noise, but everyone went their own way and continued with their lives because there were no strong leaders behind it.
As pastor Israel continued to pray and seek God’s guidance to the meaning of this three-part vision; three possible versions and outcomes, he understood from the Holy Spirit that the Lord was referring to the power of prayer!
Our prayers can change the course of history, it can influence the developing situation and its possible outcome. Things can go any which way, and a lot of it depends on our prayers.
When we stand together and pray, specifically and directly, as the Holy Spirit leads us, we will definitely see miracles! We will witness even the most impossible situations turn around 180 degrees.
