There are moments in life when you can feel history shifting under your feet—when what once felt like a distant dream suddenly stands in front of you, waiting to be embraced. That’s where we are right now.
After years of prayer, faith, and perseverance, Beit Hallel’s Evangelism and Discipleship Center in Ashdod is finally ours. The keys are in our hands. The doors are open. And with that, a new chapter begins.
But today, the building still stands empty. It’s waiting to become what we know it was always meant to be: a spiritual sanctuary that will touch the lives of thousands across Israel.
This Isn’t Just Construction—It’s Kingdom Work
It’s easy to talk about renovations and upgrades. But this isn’t about walls and floors. This is about people.It’s about Israeli seekers who are spiritually hungry—longing for truth, community, and peace in a world that feels increasingly dark and chaotic.
It’s about young believers, some of whom have come to faith in Yeshua from secular, atheist, or religious homes. These are first-generation followers of Yeshua, desperate to learn, grow, and be equipped—but they need a place to do it.
It’s about families who have lived through war—who’ve heard air-raid sirens and missiles exploding, and whose husbands and fathers are still being called up for reserve duty. They need a place where they can feel safe again. A place where they can laugh, enjoy fellowship, and encounter the love of God.
It’s about people rebuilding their lives, single mothers who are coming to faith, new immigrants who’ve left everything behind, and Holocaust survivors being shown compassion.
And it’s about revival—not as a concept, but as something we believe God is birthing in this generation in Israel.
What This Center Will Do
When fully renovated, the center will become a vibrant hub for:
- Evangelism:
Hosting outreaches and Gospel-centered events that speak to both Jewish and secular Israeli hearts. - Discipleship:
Running courses, Bible studies, and mentorship programs for new and growing believers. - Worship and Prayer:
Creating a sanctuary where the presence of God can dwell and move freely. - Youth and Children’s Ministry:
Offering dedicated spaces for teaching, play, and worship
This will be a place where broken hearts are restored, where lives are changed forever, and where the light of Yeshua pushes back the darkness.
The Work Still Needed
Before we can open the doors and begin ministry, critical renovations are needed:
- Electrical Upgrades:
To support live worship, teaching equipment, and outreach broadcasting. - Air Conditioning:
Summers in Ashdod are sweltering—without cooling, the space will be unusable for much of the year. - Room Partitioning:
To create ministry-specific spaces for children, teens, prayer groups, and leadership training. - Worship Hall Development:
Designing and equipping a central worship space where many can gather in God’s presence.
Each task is both practical and deeply spiritual. Every nail driven, every light installed, every wall built is a step toward revival.
