Ramadan is considered a holy month in the Muslim community. It is commemorated with 40 days of fasting and praying celebrated by the Muslim community worldwide, and in Israel it is considered an especially explosive season.
As a time of reflection, prayer and introspection for Muslims, it also ignites especially strong religious sentiments among the Muslim observers.
Most mosques and Muslims spiritual leaders (Imams) call for a violent uprising against the Jews at this time and preach the doctrine of hatred towards Israel, as well as all they consider “infidels” (non-Muslim).
There is a reason why the Ramadan season is always considered extremely explosive and prone to escalation in Israel.
Combined with the ongoing war in Gaza, as well as the global animosity towards Jews and Israel, this year’s Ramadan is an all-out spiritual warfare waged against Israel’s very existence.
Security in Israel has been doubled down, many soldiers and police patrolling the streets of our cities, because of the incitement and calls for an uprising and violent attacks on Jews.
However, our fight is not against flesh and blood. This is a spiritual war and it needs to be fought in the spirit.
We have God’s eternal promises to stand on, the name of our Lord Jesus and the prayers and intercession of Israel’s most faithful friends: believers from the nations — like you.
In a time when Israel is attacked, cursed and fight against on every corner, as believers in Jesus we have to take up our calling to stand as watchmen on the walls of Jerusalem and pray for her peace.
Pray for shalom, protection, revival and God’s blessing over His people. This is the time to stand on God’s biblical promises to restore, build and release His blessing, by speaking these promises into existence by faith.
In a season when millions of Muslims around the world will be fasting and praying, many will be tempted to execute their incitement and hatred by attacking Israel.
Just as we live in peace, side by side, next to wonderful Muslim Arabs here in Israel with whom we testify to the true coexistence in the land, there are also many radical ones that live by a doctrine of hatred and total rejection of Israel.
We need your prayers!
Pray for people of peace, for the many Muslim Arabs here in Israel who stand for what is right and good, and only seek to peacefully coexist with Jews.
Also pray for Christian Arabs, who also face hard times during this Ramadan season.
Pray for Jewish people in Israel, as well as Arabs in Israel, both Muslims and Christian. This is the time when God will be doing amazing miracles, and your prayer is crucial.
We believe we will see God’s hand and protection over this nation during the Ramadan season.
Stand with us as watchmen on the walls of Jerusalem in the spirit, as we engage in spiritual warfare and intercession.
Isaiah 62:6-7 — “I have posted watchmen on your walls, Jerusalem; they will never be silent day or night. You who call on the LORD, give yourselves no rest, and give him no rest till he establishes Jerusalem and makes her the praise of the earth.”
