This Passover we got to do something truly amazing:
we got to hold an evangelism campaign in the desert.
There’s something unique about the Israeli desert. Perhaps it is the ancient atmosphere, an environment where it seems time stood still and you can almost hear the voices of the forefathers as they crossed the desert and finally entered the Promised Land.
All these components made the Negev desert the perfect setting for our evangelism campaign where we reached 300 people with the gospel.
It was a remarkable day! God showed us some wonderful signs, when a sudden flash flood filled up the springs and dried up rivers in the desert.
I will make rivers flow on barren heights, and springs within the valleys. I will turn the desert into pools of water, and the parched ground into springs.
Isaiah 41:18
After the event, as we went outside, we saw the biggest and brightest rainbow I’ve ever seen in Israel. It was absolutely spectacular!
God was present with us throughout the day, touching people’s hearts and showing them how he will turn the desert of their life into pools of water.
