It’s a joyful feast because we celebrate the moment the history of all mankind changed forever. It’s something people of God were commanded to celebrate year after year for generations, even before Yeshua’s birth.
I’d like to highlight the connection between Shavuot and Pentecost that became the fulfillment of God’s promises. This is why it is no coincidence that Pentecost took place on the date of Shavuot.
