Sukkot – A Prophetic Message about a Glorious Future

About 3200 years ago God gave the people of Israel Sukkot — Feast of Tabernacles, and thousands of years later the nation of Israel still celebrates it faithfully each year, just as God has commanded.

For seven days celebrate the festival to the LORD your God at the place the LORD will choose. For the LORD your God will bless you in all your harvest and in all the work of your hands, and your joy will be complete.

Deuteronomy 16:15

This is the time that is devoted to the Lord, through prayer, blessings and celebration.

God gave a solid promise here! He said that you will celebrate the Feast of Tabernacle with an abundance of joy because God will bless your harvest and all the work of your hands.

There’s no if’s or but’s, it is a fact. If you follow God in your life, He WILL bless you.

The prophetic message of Sukkot is the millennial kingdom of God.

Looking at the book of Daniel, Zechariah and Revelations we see that the Feast of Tabernacles prophetically proclaims the kingdom of God when Jesus will return to earth, standing with His feet on the Mount of Olives, after which he would pass through the valley entering the ancient gates of Jerusalem as the King of Kings, establishing His reign over the whole world.

Everything has a divine order: Jewish High Holy Days start with Rosh Hashanah — Feast of Trumpets that speaks of annunciation, of God blowing His trumpet, announcing His return and the rapture of His bride. It is followed by Yom Kippur — Day of Atonement that proclaims Judgement day. Sukkot — Feast of Tabernacles starts right after Yom Kippur and comes to announce the return and reign of Jesus over the earth.

What will happen on this glorious day?

And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles.

Zechariah 14:16

The Bible speaks about ALL the nations rising up against Israel, but God will come and save Israel and establish His kingdom in Jerusalem over all the nations.

After this event, all the nations that came to fight Israel will then come to Jerusalem to fulfill the Feast of Tabernacles and worship Jesus as the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

Can you imagine? YOUR nation, as well as every nation will come to Jerusalem to stand before our Great King Jesus and worship Him during the Feast of Tabernacles!

Today is the day of preparation. We are being prepared for the great Sukkot — Feast of Tabernacles that is coming when Jesus establishes His Kingdom on earth from Jerusalem.

That day is quickly approaching, when we will all be gathered in Jerusalem to celebrate His glory during the Feast of Tabernacles.

That is the glorious message! Jesus is going to reign over all the nations and we will be there to worship Him together as our eternal Tabernacle.
