What has God been telling us for 3200 years through the prophetic message of the Sukkot Feast? It has been thousands of years ago that God gave us the command to celebrate the feast of Tabernacles, and here we are today, still celebrating it, just as He commanded it to His people 3200 years ago.
Seven days you shall keep a sacred feast to the LORD your God in the place which the LORD chooses…
Deuteronomy 16:15
It specifically says the Feast is sacred and it is to be kept “to the Lord your God”, in Hebrew “to Yahweh”. There are special prayers, special blessings, and a very special joy in dedicating this feast to the Lord.
…because the LORD your God will bless you in all your produce and in all the work of your hands, so that you surely rejoice.
Deuteronomy 16:15
That is God’s promise!
He promised that you would be blessed celebrating the feast of Tabernacles, and you will do so out of your abundance, so your joy is great.
If you follow God, and you give your life to Yeshua, you will be blessed. It’s not a question, it’s a stated fact. Through Yeshua we are blessed, and it’s a done deal.
The actual prophetic message of Sukkot is the millennial Kingdom of God; The Lord physically reigning in Jerusalem for a thousand years.
Summarizing the book of Daniel, the book of Zechariah, and the book of Revelation, as well as the words of Yeshua Himself all, point to the feast of Tabernacles as a proclamation of the Kingdom of God on earth when Yeshua will return. He will stand on Mt. Olives, come down through the valley and triumphantly enter Jerusalem as King of Israel, and King of the whole world. He will then establish His physical kingdom and reign on earth.
Right before Sukkot, we were celebrating and studying the Feast of Trumpets (Rosh Hashanah) — which speaks of rapture, the sound of God’s trumpet that will sound before taking His bride. Then we went on to commemorate Yom Kippur (Atonement Day) which speaks about Judgment Day. While Sukkot speaks about Yeshua’s return and establishing His millennial reign on earth, we have to be ready.
And it shall come to pass that everyone who is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the Feast of Tabernacles.
Zechariah 14:16
Before Yeshua’s return, ALL THE NATIONS will come against Jerusalem. It is the same message as one we read in the book of Revelation, but we see again and again that the Lord will come to Israel’s rescue. But He will also do it to save the nations so that He can establish His kingdom in Jerusalem.
After all, nations rose against Jerusalem, they will return to Jerusalem, but this time to worship the King of kings and Lord of lords.
That is when Sukkot is going to be the core of this message because nations will come to Jerusalem to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles (Sukkot).
Can you imagine the joy? Your nation and every other nation will come to worship our King in Jerusalem for the Feast of Sukkot!
Today we are being prepared, but when the physical Kingdom of God is established on earth, and Yeshua will reign from Jerusalem, we will all gather together in Jerusalem to celebrate His feast of Tabernacles in His glory.
That is the true message of Sukkot — the Kingdom of Yeshua on earth, with all the nations coming together in Jerusalem to celebrate Sukkot and worship our King on His Holy Mountain
