The Promise behind Shavuot and the Power behind Pentecost

Shavuot is a deeply significant time in the Bible; Time for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, His works, power, and presence in our lives. In fact, it is so significant that Yeshua instructed His disciples to wait in Jerusalem for Shavuot to commence because that is the time God had chosen to pour out His Spirit on believers.

The world was never the same since that Shavuot — Pentecost.

It’s a joyful feast because we celebrate the moment when the history of mankind was changed forever. It’s something people of God were commanded to celebrate year after year for generations — even before Yeshua’s birth.

In this teaching Pastor Israel highlights the connection between Shavuot and Pentecost that became the fulfillment of God’s promises. This is why it is no coincidence that Pentecost and the outpouring of the Holy Spirit took place on the day of Shavuot.
