Year-End Appeal:
Blessing a Fading Generation

As this year comes to a close, my heart is moved with deep gratitude as I look back on what God has allowed us to do — and on the precious lives you have helped us touch. When I think about the ministry God has entrusted to us among Holocaust survivors, I can only say: Only the Lord could open this door — and yet He chose to do it through you.

This year, we continued one of the most meaningful assignments the Lord has given us: caring for the last living witnesses of the Holocaust. These men and women have survived war, starvation, terror, and loss. They have seen things no person should ever experience. And now, in their final years, God has given us the privilege to surround them with dignity, love, and honor.

In the video we’re sharing this week, I said these words — and I want to repeat them again because they remain absolutely true:

“We couldn’t do this alone. We couldn’t do this without you.”

Your prayers and your generosity are the reason we can stand beside this fading generation and bless them while we still have time.

A Ministry of Honor, Compassion, and Restoration

When we gather with Holocaust survivors — whether at a holiday celebration, a music event, a meal, or a simple visit — something holy happens. They come dressed up, lifted up, encouraged, and reminded that their lives still matter. Many of them live alone. Many suffer from trauma. Many carry memories they rarely speak about.

And yet, when we gather with them, something softens. They laugh. They dance. They cry. They tell their stories. They feel loved.

This is not just another outreach — this is a ministry of remembrance and restoration. It is a sacred calling to care for these precious souls while we still have them with us.

Every outing we organize, every event we host, every gift we bring, every moment we spend listening to their stories — all of it is possible because you have believed in the call God placed on our hearts.

A Final Invitation Before the Year Ends

As we step into the final days of this year, I want to extend a heartfelt invitation: If God touches your heart, would you consider sending a year-end gift to support our Holocaust Survivor ministry?

Your generosity makes it possible for us to:

  • Host gatherings that bring joy, dignity, and hope
  • Visit survivors who are isolated and alone
  • Provide practical help in their daily needs
  • Create moments of honor that they will cherish
  • Show them the love of God in word and action

Every seed matters. Every prayer matters. And every gift goes directly to blessing this precious generation while they are still with us.

My prayer is that in the coming year, we will continue to stand beside these survivors, bringing comfort, honor, and the love of God — and that through this ministry, the land of Israel will see healing, restoration, and hope.

From my heart to yours: thank you. We love you. And may the Lord bless you in the name of Yeshua.

With deep gratitude,

Pastor Israel Pochtar

Light in Jerusalem —
A Prophetic Evangelistic Opportunity This December

There are moments in the year when heaven feels unusually close — when the spiritual atmosphere softens, and people begin to ask questions they normally keep buried. December in Jerusalem is one of those moments. The streets glow with lights. Families gather in homes and markets. The city — ancient, sacred, and layered with God’s […]

A Heart of Thanksgiving —
In Every Nation, In Every Season

As we approach the Thanksgiving weekend, our hearts naturally turn toward gratitude. And although this holiday began within one nation’s tradition, its message reaches far beyond borders. Gratitude is a language every culture understands, and it is a posture God invites all of us to live in — every day, in every season, wherever we […]

“Seen, Heard, and Held by God” —
A Testimony from Jerusalem

One of the most precious things we witness in our ministry is this simple truth: people open their hearts when they feel seen, heard, and genuinely cared for. It sounds gentle, almost quiet… yet this is where some of the greatest miracles begin. Recently, during one of our Jerusalem gatherings, after a message of hope […]

When the Shofar Sounds:
Remember the God Who Still Speaks

As we prepare here in Israel to celebrate the Feast of Trumpets, I have been thinking about a sound that has echoed through the story of our people for thousands of years: the sound of the shofar. In Hebrew, this biblical feast is called Yom Teruah—the Day of the Shofar Blast, or the Day of Trumpet […]

All Things Are Possible

Sometimes we face situations where we simply do not see a way forward. We have prayed, we have waited, and maybe we have done everything we know to do, but nothing seems to change. After some time, we can begin to think, “Maybe this is impossible.” The Bible is full of people who found themselves […]

A Call to Draw Near:
Strengthening a New Generation of Believers in Israel

“Jesus went up on a mountainside and called to Him those He wanted, and they came to Him.” Mark 3:13 There are seasons when the voice of God can become difficult to hear beneath the noise of everyday life. Responsibilities, decisions, relationships, work, questions about the future—especially for young adults, life can pull the heart […]

When a Heart Begins to Open

Sometimes the most important thing happening in a room is something no one can see. A woman may sit quietly, listen without saying much, and give little indication that anything has changed. Yet a seed has been planted. The Word of God has reached somewhere beneath the surface. And sometimes it is only later that […]

He Saw Them —
Rosh HaShanah and Sukkot Evangelism Campaign

“But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were weary and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd.” Matthew 9:36 When Yeshua looked at a multitude, He never saw a number. He saw faces. He saw stories. He saw lives unfolding before Him—people carrying pain, questions, disappointments, fears, and […]

When God Leads You Somewhere New —
A Message from Joppa, Israel

There are seasons when life feels settled. Perhaps you have prayed for something, watched God answer, and finally reached a place where you can breathe again. There is nothing wrong with being grateful for that place. But today, standing in Joppa—the biblical city known today as Jaffa, on Israel’s Mediterranean coast—I am reminded of something powerful: sometimes […]
