You Will Keep Him In Perfect Peace

You will keep him in perfect peace (shalom), Whose mind is stayed on You, Because he trusts in You.

Isaiah 23:6

Interesting to note: In the Hebrew scripture the word shalom (peace) appears twice.

In the biblical culture if something was repeated or mentioned twice in one verse it denoted great importance. Meaning, God really wanted to emphasize it.

God gives shalom – peace to the righteous. In Hebrew it continues to emphasize: peace He will give you, because you trusted in Him.

Isn’t it remarkable? God promised you emphatically that He will give you peace! And His reason for this peace is key: “because he trusts in You.”

When we trust the Lord, God’s shalom will come down on us. It’s wonderful to walk in the fulfillment of God’s promises, however it is in the times of testing when we experience peace that only comes from trusting the Lord.

That’s when we get to walk in perfect shalom, supernatural peace that surpasses all understanding, keeping our minds and hearts in Jesus.

Trust in the LORD forever, For in YAH, the LORD, is everlasting strength..

Isaiah 26:4

Trust the Lord forever! There couldn’t be a higher blessing than eternal trust in our Lord that leads to perfect peace.

May God bless you and keep you, so you may walk in His supernatural shalom.
