One of the greatest joys we have at Beit Hallel is the wonderful friendships God has given us across the world. Each supporter, each prayer partner, and each friend who stands with us represents a story of faith and connection that reaches far beyond Israel’s borders.
This week, we’re honored to feature David and Susan Lings from Dorset, England — dear friends who have stood faithfully with Beit Hallel for many years. Their words reflect a deep love for Israel and a heartfelt understanding of God’s promises to His people.
“We first came to hear of Beit Hallel in, I think it was, 2010 when Israel Pochtar came to our conference as a speaker. It was held in grounds that saw a big move of God at Post Green here in Dorset. We met Israel there and decided to keep in touch.
We were so impressed with all the work that Beit Hallel did that we ultimately decided to support the work financially. This [is] what we try and do now each month to give a proportion to bless the work and the Jewish people. If you bless Israel you will be blessed.
The Jewish people are God’s people and the land of Israel is God’s land. It belongs to Him, not to anyone else, not even the Jewish people who God has made His caretakers of the land of Israel, no one else.
We have been so impressed by all the stories from immigrants and all the outreaches taking place. There is so much anti-Semitism and anti-Israelism in today’s world. We really need to step up and help.
We bless you to prosper despite all the anti Israel language and your mission to the people of Israel to succeed beyond your wildest expectations.
We really need to read our Bibles these days with minds open to what the God of Israel is saying at this time as we are in the last days before Jesus comes.
God said ‘To your descendants I have given this land, from the river of Egypt to the great river, the river Euphrates. (Gen 15 v 18)”
David and Susan’s words capture the very heart of what this partnership means — believers standing shoulder to shoulder with Israel, recognizing the prophetic times we’re living in, and actively blessing the work God is doing in the Land.
Their story reminds us that the call to “bless Israel” (Genesis 12:3) isn’t just a verse to quote — it’s a living invitation to participate in God’s plan.
We’re so grateful for David and Susan, and for all our friends around the world who continue to pray, give, and stand with us. Together, we are seeing lives changed, hope restored, and the Good News shining from Israel to the nations.”
