When Faith Becomes Their Own:

When Faith Becomes Their Own: Inside Our Summer Youth Discipleship Project

One of the greatest joys of discipleship is watching the moment when faith stops belonging to someone else and becomes personal.

That is exactly what we have been witnessing this summer.

Without anyone prompting them, many of the young people in our Summer Youth Discipleship Project have begun praying out loud. They are thanking God, praying sincerely for one another, and bringing before Him the needs of their families and friends. Others arrive eager to share something they discovered while reading the Bible during the week.

Questions that once remained unspoken are now becoming meaningful conversations: “Why did Yeshua say this?” “What does this passage teach us?” “How can I hear God’s voice?”

These may seem like small moments, but they reveal something much deeper.

Only a few weeks ago, many of these same young people simply listened. They watched as leaders opened the Scriptures, prayed together, and shared what God was teaching them. Some were curious. Others were still finding their footing, unsure of how to express their own faith. Like so many young believers, they were learning not only about God, but what it means to know Him personally.

Now we are watching something beautiful happen. Every sincere prayer, every honest question, every verse remembered, and every conversation centered on God’s Word is another root growing stronger. These are the moments that outlast the summer. They mark the beginning of a faith that is no longer borrowed from parents, youth leaders, or friends, but is becoming their own.

Week after week, we are watching young people discover that following Yeshua is about far more than attending meetings or learning Bible stories. It is about walking with God every day. Through Bible studies, small groups, worship, retreats, practical opportunities to serve others, and authentic relationships with caring mentors, we are seeing the Lord shape their character in remarkable ways.

We see them encouraging one another, stepping in to help without being asked, showing greater compassion, and growing in their desire to reflect the love of the Messiah in their daily lives. These are the quiet signs of genuine spiritual maturity.

The apostle Paul encouraged believers to be “rooted and built up in Him, strengthened in the faith” (Colossians 2:6–7). As we watch these young lives grow, we are seeing those words come alive before our eyes. God is planting something today that we believe will bear fruit for many years to come.

There is still one month to go, and we are continuing to raise the remaining funds needed to complete this $13,300 Summer Youth Discipleship Project. Every meal shared, every Bible opened, every small-group discussion, every retreat, every opportunity to serve, and every caring mentor is possible because faithful friends like you choose to invest in Israel’s next generation.

The transformation we are celebrating today began because someone was willing to plant the seed.

Would you help us finish this summer strong?

Every gift helps nurture seeds that God is already planting in young hearts. Together, we are investing in far more than a summer project—we are helping raise a generation that knows God, loves His Word, serves others with compassion, and will carry His light throughout Israel for years to come.

Thank you for standing with us, believing in Israel’s next generation, and investing in lives that are already beginning to bear beautiful fruit.

When Women Stand Together: The Quiet Strength That Changes Lives

Sometimes Love Speaks First—Galina’s Story

Sometimes Love Speaks First –
Galina’s Story

Some of the most meaningful ministry never begins with a sermon. It begins with a conversation, a helping hand, or a simple act of kindness that quietly earns the right to be heard. That is exactly how our friendship with Galina began. Just above our clothing warehouse is a facility for children with special needs. […]

Strengthening the Hands That Serve:
Encouraging Our Pastoral Family in Eilat

Pastors spend much of their lives encouraging others. They pray with families, guide people through difficult seasons, teach the Scriptures, and help believers grow in their faith. Yet those who faithfully shepherd others also need moments to step away from their daily responsibilities, share their hearts, and receive encouragement themselves. Recently, Pastor Israel traveled to […]

Until All Israel Hears —
The Good News Project

Nearly two thousand years ago, the Good News of Yeshua began spreading from Jerusalem to the nations. This November, believers from those nations will come to Israel to stand alongside our Beit Hallel team, sharing that same message in the streets of the very land where it all began. There is something deeply meaningful about […]

Where He Walked, They Prayed:
200 Israelis Encounter the Gospel at Magdala

There are places in Israel where the stories of the Bible suddenly feel very close. Magdala, on the shores of the Sea of Galilee, is one of them. Recently, we brought 200 Israelis to this ancient town, where Yeshua (Jesus) ministered in the surrounding region nearly 2,000 years ago. We wanted them to discover more […]

The Stones Are Ancient:
The Gospel Still Changes Lives

Some places carry a history that time cannot erase. Along the shores of the Sea of Galilee, ancient stones still bear witness to the world Yeshua walked through—the villages where He taught, the people He encountered, and the lives that were forever changed by meeting Him.  As we prepare to welcome 200 Israelis to the […]

Hebrew Word of the Week:
B’yadcha (בְּיָדְךָ) —
Into Your Hand

Some things are simply beyond our control. We can pray, make wise decisions, do everything we know to do, and still reach a point where the outcome is no longer in our hands. This can be one of the hardest places for us, because we naturally want to know what is going to happen and […]
