When Faith Becomes Visible –
Summer Israeli Youth Discipleship

As evening settled over the forest, a group of teenagers gathered around a campfire beneath the trees. Bibles rested on laps, questions flowed naturally, and conversations continued long after the daylight had faded. There was nothing elaborate about the setting—just a few chairs, simple lights, and young people who genuinely wanted to understand what it means to follow Yeshua.

Moments like these capture the heart of our Summer Israeli Youth Discipleship program.

Throughout the summer, these young people have been discovering that following Yeshua is about far more than attending meetings or learning Bible stories. Together they have studied God’s Word, worshipped, prayed, shared meals, and built friendships rooted in faith. Week by week, we have watched them grow in confidence as their faith becomes increasingly personal.

This week, we saw that growth become visible.

After spending time together in Bible study and prayer, many of these same teenagers joined Beit Hallel’s humanitarian outreach, helping prepare and distribute food to families and elderly people in need. They packed food boxes, carried groceries, and served with joyful hearts.

The tasks themselves were simple, but what stood out was the compassion behind them.

One of the beautiful things about discipleship is that it eventually begins to show. Compassion is no longer something we simply read about in Scripture—it becomes something we live. It is found in noticing someone who feels forgotten, carrying a heavy bag without being asked, offering encouragement, or serving with joy. This week, we watched these young people begin taking those steps naturally as their hearts continue to be shaped by the example of Yeshua.

That is why our Summer Israeli Youth Discipleship program is so much more than a summer camp. It is helping shape a generation of young believers whose faith reaches beyond Bible studies and worship services into everyday life. As they learn to follow Yeshua, they are also learning to love, serve, and care for others in practical ways.

With one month of the program still remaining, there is still time to invest in what God is doing.

Your partnership helps provide the meals, transportation, retreats, Bible studies, mentoring, and outreach opportunities that make this journey possible. More importantly, it creates space for young people to encounter God, build lasting friendships, and discover what it means to live out their faith each day.

Thank you for investing in this next generation.

Because of your generosity, these young people are discovering that faith is not simply something they believe—it is something they live. Together, we are helping shape lives that will reflect the heart of Yeshua for years to come.

Strengthening the Hands That Serve:
Encouraging Our Pastoral Family in Eilat

Pastors spend much of their lives encouraging others. They pray with families, guide people through difficult seasons, teach the Scriptures, and help believers grow in their faith. Yet those who faithfully shepherd others also need moments to step away from their daily responsibilities, share their hearts, and receive encouragement themselves. Recently, Pastor Israel traveled to […]

Until All Israel Hears —
The Good News Project

Nearly two thousand years ago, the Good News of Yeshua began spreading from Jerusalem to the nations. This November, believers from those nations will come to Israel to stand alongside our Beit Hallel team, sharing that same message in the streets of the very land where it all began. There is something deeply meaningful about […]

One Family’s Journey of Aliyah, Resilience, and Belonging

“We have nowhere left to return to. We’ve already returned. Home.” These are Olga’s words, and they tell us something about the family we’ve come to know through our work at Beit Hallel. Since arriving in Israel, Olga and her family have experienced the joy of welcoming a new baby, the challenges of starting over, […]

Where He Walked, They Prayed:
200 Israelis Encounter the Gospel at Magdala

There are places in Israel where the stories of the Bible suddenly feel very close. Magdala, on the shores of the Sea of Galilee, is one of them. Recently, we brought 200 Israelis to this ancient town, where Yeshua (Jesus) ministered in the surrounding region nearly 2,000 years ago. We wanted them to discover more […]

The Stones Are Ancient:
The Gospel Still Changes Lives

Some places carry a history that time cannot erase. Along the shores of the Sea of Galilee, ancient stones still bear witness to the world Yeshua walked through—the villages where He taught, the people He encountered, and the lives that were forever changed by meeting Him.  As we prepare to welcome 200 Israelis to the […]

Hebrew Word of the Week:
B’yadcha (בְּיָדְךָ) —
Into Your Hand

Some things are simply beyond our control. We can pray, make wise decisions, do everything we know to do, and still reach a point where the outcome is no longer in our hands. This can be one of the hardest places for us, because we naturally want to know what is going to happen and […]
