When One Heart Opens, The Miracle Begins — Valentina’s Story

Sometimes, what begins as an ordinary moment — a simple registration at an outreach event — becomes the very doorway through which heaven touches earth. During one of our recent evangelism projects, an elderly couple quietly entered our congregation hall. They came hoping for practical help, but God had already prepared something much greater. As our follow-up worker Lena welcomed them, the woman — her name was Valentina — suddenly began to weep.

Through tears, she told us about her son, Oleg, who had suffered a severe stroke and had been bedridden for more than six months. Her heart was heavy with worry and exhaustion. She explained that he could no longer move or speak — and that doctors had offered little hope. Lena gently led them to our follow-up prayer team.

Standing together, Valentina shared her pain once again — a mother’s cry for her son. She asked if we could come to the hospital to pray for him. But as we prayed, it became clear that this moment was about more than physical healing. God was calling them to something eternal — the healing of the heart.

Our team asked a simple question: “Do you believe that Yeshua, Jesus, is the Son of God — that He died and rose again for you?” With tears streaming down their faces, Valentina and her husband both said, “Yes, we believe.” Right there, hand in hand with our prayer team, they prayed aloud — surrendering their lives to Yeshua.

It was a quiet, holy moment. And when they finished, everything changed. The tears of sorrow turned into tears of peace — and then came a smile. We gave them a Bible and shared words of encouragement, showing them where to begin reading and how to grow in their new faith.

“Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved — you and your household.”

Acts 16:31

The very next day, our prayer team went to the hospital to visit Oleg. He couldn’t speak, but as they prayed for him, the presence of the Lord filled the room — quiet, gentle, and powerful. It was clear that God had already begun His work. We are standing in faith for Oleg’s full healing and for the salvation of his entire family. Because when one heart opens to Yeshua, the light begins to shine through the whole house.

This is what happens when we show up — when we take time to listen, to pray, to love, and to bring hope. What began as a simple request for help became a moment of eternal transformation. Valentina and her husband came looking for assistance, but they found the Savior. Now they carry His peace — and we believe their story is only beginning.

Thank you for standing with us, praying with us, and making it possible to reach people like Valentina and Oleg. Every act of kindness, every outreach, and every prayer opens the way for a miracle. Because where Yeshua enters, life begins again.

Shemini Atzeret & Simchat Torah —
Praying for Rain and Revival in Israel

In Scripture, God calls Israel to stay with Him one more day after the seven days of Sukkot — a kind of holy “after-celebration” in His presence. The name Shemini Atzeret literally means “the Eighth Day of Assembly” (Leviticus 23:36), a day when God says to His people, “Don’t rush away — remain a little […]

The Last Mile — Bringing the Message of Hope to the Galilee

There are moments in life when we sense that what we do truly matters — moments when God gives us a chance to touch lives and make a difference that will last far beyond ourselves. This is one of those moments. Very soon, the Galilee will once again be filled with people hearing the message […]

The Prophetic Message of Sukkot

There’s something very special about the Feast of Sukkot — the Feast of Tabernacles. It’s one of the happiest and most meaningful times in God’s calendar, a time to remember His goodness, His care, and His desire to live among His people. All across Israel, families build little shelters called sukkot — simple booths made […]

Strengthening the Hands That Serve:
Encouraging Our Pastoral Family in Eilat

Pastors spend much of their lives encouraging others. They pray with families, guide people through difficult seasons, teach the Scriptures, and help believers grow in their faith. Yet those who faithfully shepherd others also need moments to step away from their daily responsibilities, share their hearts, and receive encouragement themselves. Recently, Pastor Israel traveled to […]

Until All Israel Hears —
The Good News Project

Nearly two thousand years ago, the Good News of Yeshua began spreading from Jerusalem to the nations. This November, believers from those nations will come to Israel to stand alongside our Beit Hallel team, sharing that same message in the streets of the very land where it all began. There is something deeply meaningful about […]

One Family’s Journey of Aliyah, Resilience, and Belonging

Where He Walked, They Prayed:
200 Israelis Encounter the Gospel at Magdala

There are places in Israel where the stories of the Bible suddenly feel very close. Magdala, on the shores of the Sea of Galilee, is one of them. Recently, we brought 200 Israelis to this ancient town, where Yeshua (Jesus) ministered in the surrounding region nearly 2,000 years ago. We wanted them to discover more […]

The Stones Are Ancient:
The Gospel Still Changes Lives

Some places carry a history that time cannot erase. Along the shores of the Sea of Galilee, ancient stones still bear witness to the world Yeshua walked through—the villages where He taught, the people He encountered, and the lives that were forever changed by meeting Him.  As we prepare to welcome 200 Israelis to the […]

Hebrew Word of the Week:
B’yadcha (בְּיָדְךָ) —
Into Your Hand

Some things are simply beyond our control. We can pray, make wise decisions, do everything we know to do, and still reach a point where the outcome is no longer in our hands. This can be one of the hardest places for us, because we naturally want to know what is going to happen and […]
