With One Heart:
Standing in Prayer for Pastor Ariel Ben David

Today, we come before you with a deeply important and heartfelt prayer request — one that touches us as brothers and sisters in Yeshua, bound together by love and faith.

Our dear friend and fellow pastor, Ariel Ben David, who leads our sister congregation Maayan in Eilat, is walking through one of the most difficult seasons of his life. Ariel has been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer, and according to the doctors, the medical outlook is not encouraging — they’ve given him about one year to live, with only a small chance of recovery.

These are hard words to write, and even harder to read.

Ariel is a man known for his joy, gentleness, and steadfast devotion to Yeshua. A loving husband, a devoted father, and a faithful shepherd, he has spent years pouring out his heart for others — teaching, encouraging, visiting, and standing beside those in need.

Now, it’s our turn to stand beside him. To lift him up in prayer. To believe with him. To love him and his family through this valley.

Even in the midst of pain, Ariel’s faith shines brightly. He continues to trust God completely, holding fast to the hope that never fades. In his own words: “My life belongs to Yeshua. Whether in healing here or healing in His presence — my home is with Him.”There is no fear in his voice — only peace, love, and trust in the arms of the Messiah. His life is a living testimony of faith that does not waver, even when tested.

As Scripture reminds us:

“Whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord. Therefore, whether we live or die, we are the Lord’s.”

Romans 14:8

And so, we pray. Because our God still heals. Because our God still comforts. Because our God is close to the brokenhearted and walks with us through every valley.

Yeshua Himself wept when He saw the pain of sickness and loss — not because He lacked power, but because love enters into the pain. And that’s what we are called to do as His Body: to love, to stand together, and to lift one another up.

How You Can Pray

Please join us in prayer for Pastor Ariel, his family, and the congregation in Eilat:

  • For complete healing in Yeshua’s mighty name.
  • For strength and relief from pain, and deep rest for his body and spirit.
  • For peace and grace to surround his wife and children like a warm covering.
  • For strength and faith for the congregation in Eilat as they walk this road together.
  • For God’s presence to fill their home with comfort, hope, and light.

“The Lord is near to the brokenhearted, and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”

Psalm 34:18

We Stand Together

Ariel is not alone. His family is not alone. The congregation in Eilat is not alone. We stand as one body — one family — with one heart.

If you would like to send a personal prayer, word of encouragement, or blessing to Pastor Ariel and his family, you can send it to us, and we will make sure they receive it. Your words and prayers mean more than you can imagine.

Let us keep them close — in our hearts, our prayers, and our faith — trusting that God’s love will carry them through.

Strengthening the Hands That Serve:
Encouraging Our Pastoral Family in Eilat

Pastors spend much of their lives encouraging others. They pray with families, guide people through difficult seasons, teach the Scriptures, and help believers grow in their faith. Yet those who faithfully shepherd others also need moments to step away from their daily responsibilities, share their hearts, and receive encouragement themselves. Recently, Pastor Israel traveled to […]

Until All Israel Hears —
The Good News Project

Nearly two thousand years ago, the Good News of Yeshua began spreading from Jerusalem to the nations. This November, believers from those nations will come to Israel to stand alongside our Beit Hallel team, sharing that same message in the streets of the very land where it all began. There is something deeply meaningful about […]

Where He Walked, They Prayed:
200 Israelis Encounter the Gospel at Magdala

There are places in Israel where the stories of the Bible suddenly feel very close. Magdala, on the shores of the Sea of Galilee, is one of them. Recently, we brought 200 Israelis to this ancient town, where Yeshua (Jesus) ministered in the surrounding region nearly 2,000 years ago. We wanted them to discover more […]

The Stones Are Ancient:
The Gospel Still Changes Lives

Some places carry a history that time cannot erase. Along the shores of the Sea of Galilee, ancient stones still bear witness to the world Yeshua walked through—the villages where He taught, the people He encountered, and the lives that were forever changed by meeting Him.  As we prepare to welcome 200 Israelis to the […]

Hebrew Word of the Week:
B’yadcha (בְּיָדְךָ) —
Into Your Hand

Some things are simply beyond our control. We can pray, make wise decisions, do everything we know to do, and still reach a point where the outcome is no longer in our hands. This can be one of the hardest places for us, because we naturally want to know what is going to happen and […]
