Women’s Meeting – Refuge in the Storm

In these turbulent times, our hearts are heavy as our nation continues its fight for survival on too many fronts. Many of us in Israel experience sleepless nights, anxious thoughts, and the overwhelming weight of responsibility. The women in our community especially bear a unique burden, as they strive to provide comfort to their families and strength to their loved ones.

Recently, we organized a women’s meeting with one simple but profound purpose: to encourage, uplift, and edify each other as they navigate through their stormy reality. Bringing women together as sisters, sharing their struggles, fears, and hopes, served as a reminder of the unique strength God has given women, and their calling as His daughters to be a light in the darkness.

She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come.

Proverbs 31:25

This is the kind of strength we prayed for in our meeting—the strength to look forward, even when the future feels uncertain because our trust is in God.

Our women’s meetings are more than just gatherings; they are sanctuaries where each woman can find rest, comfort, and a safe space in the presence of God.

We witnessed tears, and outpouring of sorrow followed by relief and healing that can only come from women embracing each other while clothed in the love of Yeshua.

In these meetings, our goal is to reach seekers who are searching for hope. We know that God’s love, revealed in Yeshua, is the most powerful force to heal broken hearts and weary souls.

Jesus said, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28). This invitation is central to these meetings.

Through prayer, fellowship, and sharing the Word, we want to surround each woman with the love of Yeshua, helping her find rest in Him. It’s here that many women discover, some for the first time, the deep, unchanging love that God has for them—a love that goes beyond all understanding and brings peace in the midst of turmoil.

We’re thankful that YOU are a big part of this crucial work that God entrusted us with.

We get to be your hands and feet that go, reach and embrace the hurting, as well as your heart that shows love to the people of Israel at a time when they need it most.

A Testimony of Healing and Repentance in Jerusalem

It’s always a blessing to share powerful stories of how Yeshua is working in people’s lives in Israel, as it serves as a reminder that God is not done with Israel, and that “all of Israel will be saved!” One such story recently came out of our outreach project in Jerusalem—one that reminds us of God’s unending […]

When God Knows the Whole Story:
The Unexpected Encounter That Gave Marina Hope

Marina* came to our Sukkot celebration carrying a fear she could do nothing about. Her son was in prison in Ukraine, badly wounded, and she did not know what would happen to him. She had no idea that among the people she would meet that day was someone whose own story would touch hers in […]

The Work He Left In Our Hands —
Galilee Evangelism Campaign

Here in Israel, many people can know the names of biblical places and the stories connected with them — and still know very little about who Yeshua really is. For many of the new Jewish immigrants we meet, Israel itself is also new. They are building a life in a new country, discovering the land, […]

“Please Don’t Wait Too Long” —
Holocaust Survivors Project Report

Some of the Holocaust survivors who walked into our gathering in Ashdod already knew us. Others did not. We could see the hesitation on a few faces, and we understood it. They had been invited into a room with people they barely knew — and we were wondering how they would respond when we spoke […]

Inside the Sukkah:
Remembering the God Who Provides

One of the things I love about Sukkot is how many simple reminders of God’s faithfulness surround us during this Feast. We build the sukkah, we sit beneath its branches, we share meals together as families, and we remember something our people have needed to remember for thousands of years: everything we have ultimately comes […]

Hebrew Word of the Week:
Adonai Uzzi (יְהוָה עֻזִּי) —
The LORD Is My Strength

We all become tired sometimes, and I don’t mean only physically. There is another kind of tiredness that comes when you have been carrying something for a long time. You have prayed, you have tried to make the right decisions, you have kept going, but the situation has still not changed. After some time, you […]

“Don’t Forget Us. Come Again” —
Holocaust Survivors Praise Report

The Moroccan food was a hit. We had brought it from Ashdod for a gathering with Holocaust survivors in Jerusalem, and before long people around the tables were asking about our city. What is Ashdod like? Could they come visit sometime? We loved that. Somewhere between passing plates, talking across the table and getting to […]
